Setup Wizard:
The first time you use ShopSite, the ShopSite Storebuilding Wizard will help you enter products, create pages, and set up your store for commerce. Within a few minutes you can have a simple store ready to take orders.

Basic / Advanced Editing:
Once you have gone through the storebuilding wizard, ShopSite gives you the option to continue in a wizard-like interface, or to jump into an advanced editing mode where you have access to all the ShopSite features. In either case, ShopSite's intuitive interface will make editing your catalog as easy as possible.

ShopSite Page Layout Themes:
Store layout can be one of the trickiest aspects of designing an online store. If you aren't comfortable with making your own page templates, ShopSite makes it easy for you to create a nice-looking, professionally designed store using Page Layout Themes. These themes are pre-designed templates that you can use just the way they come, or customize by choosing different colors or by inserting supplemental graphics such as background graphics.

Unlimited Custom Page Templates:
More advanced users will appreciate ShopSite's flexible page templates. Page templates set the basic structure of the page, but let you determine what colors, graphics, or other objects are placed in the different page elements.

Commerce enable existing websites:
Do you already have a web site to which you want to add commerce? With ShopSite you don't have to start from scratch. Simply open up your existing page in the Web editing program of your choice (Dreamweaver, GoLive, NotePad, etc.) and drag or paste order buttons from ShopSite directly onto your existing page. Within a matter of minutes you can have your existing Web site ready to take orders.

Custom Page Extensions:
Advanced Web developers will enjoy ShopSite's Custom Page feature. With this feature, designers can embed ShopSite database calls into an HTML page. This allows you the flexibility of customizing a page to your hearts content, while affording you the easy maintenance of a database-driven site.

Works with any web-authoring tools:
There are dozens of great web-editing tools on the market today. Some, like Dreamweaver or GoLive, make creating pages, image maps, etc. a piece of cake. Others, like Adobe ImageStyler or Macromedia Fireworks, make it simple to create nice graphics, complete with JavaScript rollovers. We've made it easy for you to use ShopSite with all products such as these. Every ShopSite catalog page can be customized with HTML or JavaScript pasted directly from one of these programs. Or, you can build your entire site in a program like Dreamweaver, and just use ShopSite to commerce-enable your pages.

Full control over Store Look and Feel:
ShopSite gives you many ways to customize your store to look just the way you want it, but if you want a really professional looking site with full control over all the images and text on your site, have a professional web design company design you a full featured set of custom templates. You can customize both the page templates as well as the product templates. This flexibility gives you the control to make every store look unique.

Secure Shopping Cart: Not only are orders taken through ShopSite secure, but the orders remain secure while they are on the server. ShopSite encrypts the orders and stores them securely in an orders database. When you want to view your orders, you can view them securely through the browser--using the same industry-standard security that was used when the order was placed. Or, you can download your orders to your local machine for import into the program of your choice. The image below (left) shows the fully customizable checkout screen. Notice the pull down menus to select the ordering options and shipping options. The image below (right) is an example of the pre-formatted invoice from the Secure Administration section of ShopSite. Once an order is placed both the merchant and the website administrator will receive an email confirmation. After logging into ShopSite the website administrator can securely download the pre-formatted invoice or you can even download a tab delimited file for import into any program.

Store Text Customizations:
Don't like the way ShopSite says "Choose type of payment"? Would you rather it said, "Choose your type of plastic"? You can make it say whatever you want using ShopSite's Store Text configuration fields. Use this feature to tailor your store to meet the specific needs and tastes of the market you are serving.
