YourHost.com has been working with Jason Klein of Calvary Chapel Downey and his technical media team for the past year.  It seems like in 209-2011, churches and other organizations are gearing up for the next round of “How do we get the Word out in a better way?”.

The team was first challenged by web design and the website became too much for one person to handle so they had decide if they would go for WordPress, a content service, or keep going with straight web design. They emerged with a completely customized WordPress system. This design was not without it’s challenges and troubles, but in the end, it looks like they have crossed the Chasm into a great manageable website. It is still a work in progress.

YourHost.com supports and hosts WordPress and Joomla, the clear choices when it comes to Content Managed Systems (CMS). There are many ways you can setup a WordPress and there are lots of organizations that make it the design look easy, but good solid scalable WordPress.
